Subang Jaya, 8th November 2016 - Over 300 people came to celebrate the launch of Star Media Group Bhd’s pipping hot brand new digital venture video-on-demand service - dimsum.my at Empire Hotel Subang recently. Just like its name, dimsum.my offers a wide range of dramas, movies and variety shows from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia which users can enjoy by downloading the dimsum app.

The launch was a star-studded event officiated by Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak and in attendance were Star Media Group Chairman Datuk Fu Ah Kiow, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai. Guests were entertained with exciting performances including reality TV star Adinda Tasya, 11 years old singing the theme song from “Bodhi and Friends” along with a scrumptious spread of dinner buffet featuring delectable dim sum assortments in line with the launch of dimsum.my.

Among those spotted at the launch were AirAsia Group CEO Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, CIMB Group Chairman Datuk Seri Nazir Razak, Media Prima Television Network CEO Datuk Kamal Khalid and many more.
